WARRANTY POLICY
Industrial Automatic Transmission, Inc. warrants each remanufactured product or part to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, application and service for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase or installation, provided that the product or part is installed, maintained and operated according to all Allison recommendations.  An external filter must be installed and the oil cooler cleaned or replaced prior to start up.  AT 540/545 and MT 600 series transmissions when installed in school buses shall be warranted for twelve (12) months from date of installation.

 

Industrial Automatic must be notified immediatley upon failure of a transmission under possible warranty.  A repalcement unit will be shipped to location of failure.   The failed unit will be shipped back to Industrial Automatic for inspection and warranty consideration.

 

Any Industrial Automatic remanufactured product or part will be repaired or replaced at Industrial Automatic's option during the warranty period if inspection discloses a defect in material or workmanship.  If the transmission is disassembled before being returned for warranty consideration, the warranty is null and void.

 

The original warranty remains if effect on replaced products.  This warranty does not cover shipping charges, removal and installation, or any other charges that might occur.

 

This warranty is the only warranty applicable to Industrial Automatic remanufactured products or parts and Industrial Automatic neither assumes, nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any obligation or liabilty concerning consequential damages resulting from breach of warranty, collision, negligence, alteration, lack of normal maintenance service, accident or use for which the product or part was not designed or approved by Allison or Industrial Automatic.
